Paramount ranch burns down

The historic Paramount Ranch has burned down as a result of the Woolsey wildfire. Most recently the Ranch had been home of HBO's Westworld and had been home to Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman in the 90's as well as films like American Sniper, Norbit, The Love Bug and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

HBO is currently waiting to see if any of its sets have survived.

Re: Paramount ranch burns down

The Paramount Ranch isn't alone, the Manson used for ABC's The Bachelor has been destroyed due to the fires as well as the homes of a number of celebs like Dr. Strange director Scott Derrickson, who revealed on Twitter that his home is gone and Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist, “Flea,” also stated that his home was gone. Caitlyn Jenner's fate was unknown for a time but she has been located, the fate of her house remains in question.

In some horrible new for Hollywood memorabilia fans, Guillermo del Toro has revealed that he has been evacuated and that Bleak House and the collection may be endangered. The Collection is said to be worth millions of dollars and contains memorabilia as far back as the 1920's, including one of the last remaining models from King Kong.

The Fire is also endangering the historic Malibou Lake, home of at least two dozen film shoots dating back to the Silent Film Era.

The Entire city of Malibu is in the crosshairs of the fire and an evacuation order has been given. Thousand Oaks and Agoura are also said to be in danger.

Re: Paramount ranch burns down

Despite earlier reports the Agoura Hills mansion where the Bachelor and Bachelorette film was not destroyed by the fire, the house next door, however, was which may be the reason for the confusion.

More info about other historical film sets have all been revealed as it's been stated that the M*A*S*H set has been damaged. The Peter Strauss ranch was also damaged in the fire, the site had been the location for a number of Concerts since the 1950's and was said to be a total loss. Also, a ranch that used to be owned by Ronald Reagan was damaged, but nothing of the former President and Actor was kept there.

Also lost were oak trees that were over hundreds of years old and had been used as the backdrop for countless TV Shows and films.

The Monte Nido home used in 2018's A Star is Born was directly in line with the fire and it's fate isn't known at this point

Guillermo del Toro revealed that the Bleak House is still standing but suffered some smoke damage. However, actor Gerard Butler and Miley Cyrus have both lost their homes. Martin Sheen was declared missing by his son Charlie Sheen but was found by local Press after evacuating from his home.
