Titanic II

We've seen films get reboots and we've seen TV shows get reboots, we've even had TV Shows rebooted as Films and vice-versa but now we're getting the biggest reboot ever.

We've known for a while that a replica of The Titanic was in the works, more than a couple Billionaires have talked about building a working replica and setting sail. Now one of them is back on track, Australian businessman and politician Clive Palmer had originally announced his plan back in 2012 but a financial dispute with the Chinese government brought things to a halt in 2015. Now he's back and is eyeing not only a 2022 maiden Voyage which will take the ship from Dubai to New York, but he's also planning to follow the same course as the original Titanic, which went down in April 2012 after hitting an iceberg during its Maiden Voyage.

The Plan is after sailing from Southampton to New York, she will continue on and circumnavigate the globe.

There is also another Titanic in the works, it was revealed in 2016 that China is building a Replica some 745 Miles inland and that it will be permanently docked in a reservoir in the Qijang River.

As for the Original Titanic, American company OceanGate and another company The Bluefish are looking to run diving trips down to the ship in the next few years, the trips would cost over 100,000 dollars however

Re: Titanic II

Sorry but I find all of that disgusting. Over a thousand people lost their lives on that ship, it shouldn't be treated as some latter day amusement park nor should it be copied. The site of the original wreck is a graveyard and should be respected as such.
