Natalie Wood death investigation news
The Los Angeles County Sheriff has spoken to 48 Hours about the six-year investigation into the drowning death of Actress Natalie Wood in 1981. Lt. John Corina has stated that Actor Robert Wagner, who was married to Wood at the time, is a person of interest in their investigation. Det. Ralph Hernandez added that she looked like the victim of assault pointing out the fresh bruises on her autopsy report. Corina also stated that Wagner hasn't told the full story and his accounts of what happened don't match up with other witnesses. He adds however that Wagner has not spoken to investigators, Actor Christopher Walken, who was on the boat at the time, has spoken with the police.
The 48 Hours story airs Saturday, February 3rd.
