21st Century Fox assets for sale
It's been big news for over a month now but this week it appears all but guaranteed that Disney will be buying a number of Century Fox assets. A sale would not include assets Disney already owns such as Fox Sports and Fox News. Other Networks such as FX would be included though, however, we won't know for sure what Disney is buying until they actually but it.
One thing for sure that Disney is likely to secure in the sale is the film rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises, the Crown jewels of the Marvel brand the film empire never felt whole to Marvel fans as both franchises could not be used in the MCU. When a deal is reached there is no word on how both groups would be integrated into the MCU, but the rumored move to more Cosmic stories could help bring in the Fantastic Four.

Disney has acquired big parts of 21st Century Fox for $52.4 billion, though the price tag is closer to $66 Billion when including debt. In the deal, Disney will get Fox's film and TV studio; the National Geographic and FX cable channels; regional sports networks; international networks; Fox's 30 percent stake in Hulu; and its 39 percent stake in European pay TV giant Sky.
Fox will keep the Fox Broadcasting network and stations, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, FS1, FS2 and Big Ten Network. They will also keep the Fox Studio Lot, Disney will lease space for 7 years.
This will give Disney a massive library for their upcoming streaming service and will return to the Marvel fold, The X-Men. The Fantastic Four is a little more iffy as Fox owned the distribution rights for the franchise and not the characters themselves. But that said if the studio that owns the film were approached something could be worked out

The U.S. Department of Justice has approved Walt Disney's partial merger with 21st Century Fox but has stated that Disney must sell Fox's regional sports networks to prevent a Sports broadcasting monopoly.
Comcast, who made a late bid for Fox's Assets, can still top Disney's offer so they aren't out of the running yet but they are running out of time.

Comcast has dropped out of the race to buy Fox's assets, choosing instead to focus on buying the British network, Sky.
