Smallville Alum Alison Mack arrested

Actress Alison Mack, best known for her role as Chloe Sullivan for 10 years on Smallville has been arrested Friday in New York on charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, and forced labor conspiracy and faces 15 years to life in prison if convicted. The Charges stem from her role with Nxivm and her relationship with its founder Keith Raniere.

Mack is alleged to have recruited "women to join what was purported to be a female mentorship group that was, in fact, created and led by Keith Raniere. The victims were then exploited, both sexually and for their labor, to the defendants’ benefit.”

Mack is the 2nd member of the main cast of Smallville to face legal issues, Sam Jones III who played Pete Ross, was arrested and convicted of conspiracy to possess illegal drugs with the intent to distribute back in 2011.

Re: Smallville Alum Alison Mack arrested

Alison Mack has changed her plea, the Smallville Actress had originally pleaded not guilty on charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and forced labor conspiracy that include racketeering back in December, claiming that she isn’t guilty of inducing forced labor if the Church of Scientology isn’t guilty of the same charge.

However on Monday, April 8th, she changed her plea to Guilty. She will now avoid going to trial with Keith Raniere, Clare Bronfman and Kathy Russell, which will begin April 29th.

Mack told the Judge "I believed that Keith Raniere's intentions were to help People, and I was Wrong."

She also stated that she acted at Raniere's direction.

No word on what her sentence will be or if she'll be called as a witness for the prosecution.
