BBC America has teamed with Annapurna Television and Elisabeth Moss to develop a limited series adaptation of Mary Beth Keane’s novel Fever. Moss owns the rights to the novel and will serve as an executive producer.

The series, like the bok, tells the story of Typhoid Mary, the first known healthy carrier of typhoid fever who unknowingly spread typhoid across early 20th Century New York.

Phil Morrison has signed on to direct and executive producer with Robin Veith who is also writing the adaptation, Annapurna’s Sue Naegle and Megan Ellison round out the EP's.

Moss has been very busy as of late with Hulu's The Handmaid’s Tale as well as season 2 of Top of the Lake
