Re: Jane the Virgin - Season 3

TV Line's Fall Scoop

The “very emotional” premiere picks up with Jane discovering that her new husband Michael has been shot. “He’s in the hospital, and they’re trying to keep him alive,” executive producer Jennie Urman previews. Meanwhile, flashbacks reveal “what happened with Jane and Michael after they had their first kiss. We learn a lot of unexpected things about the beginning of their relationship.” Elsewhere, Anezka is racing against the clock to give her sis a shot to keep her “Petra-fied.” Speaking of the twins, Rafael has “a definite point of view” regarding his future with the blonde he presumed to be his ex, following their finale hookup. Another pair of ex-lovers, Xo and Rogelio, are “going to double down on the things that are keeping them from being together,” Urman shares. Does that mean no baby for Jane’s pregnant mom? “Xo makes a choice that we’ll be exploring,” the EP hedges.

BONUS SPOILER!: “Rafael has a surprising new attitude in this season,” Urman teases.

RETURN DATE: Monday, Oct. 17 at 9/8c (The CW)
