Re: Series 10 and Moffat

Well, it's a bit early to write off the companion, outside of the 2-minute introduction video we know nothing about Bill or how she'll interact with the Doctor.

I wouldn't say Capaldi sucked, none of them have sucked, even the least liked Doctor, Colin Baker didn't suck he just got hit by poor writing, extreme budget cuts, and a BBC management that literally hated the show. The Issue with Capaldi was the show went a darker direction after the lighter tones the 10th and 11th Doctor's had and some fans didn't like it

maybe I'm a little harsh on [sign in to see URL]'s a good actor, I just don't like the way that he plays the doctor (although, around when "the impossible girl" died, he was very good)...

I decided to give him a shot as a supporting actor, and watched the Doctor Who "The Fires of Pompeii" last [sign in to see URL] he and "Amy Pond" were in [sign in to see URL] was a "Soothsayer" and he was Caecilius (a real person from Pompeii, but historically it is believed that he died in the great Earth Quake that pre-dated the volcano (Vesuvius?) destroying Pompeii...

Donna Noble made the Doctor save someone from Pompeii, so at the last minute, David Tennant saved Capaldi and family...

getting back to the [sign in to see URL] was very likable as Caecilius; and maybe I'm still a little harsh on him for his role on Torchwood...

John Simm will be returning as The Master and will be interacting with Missy.

Also, it's being reported that despite reports that Capaldi would be in the Christmas Speical, he has filmed his regeneration scene. The Trailer did hint at his regeneration in a quick scene of Yellowish light radiating off of his hand in the typical New Who regeneration style. If true we could meet the New Doctor at Christmas, much like we met The 10th Doctor

It's making its way around the net but not sure where it started so take it with a grain of salt but it's being reported that David Bradley will be returning to Doctor Who to kind of reprise his role from An Adventure in Space and Time. Bradley played William Hartnell, the actor who played The First Doctor, in the TV Film about the creation of Doctor Who. The program also had Bradley playing The Doctor in a few scenes.

The reports state The First Doctor will help the 12th Doctor and will explain how 12 shows up during Time of The Doctor, which provided our first look the Twelfth Doctor, and that the glimpse we saw in the 50th-anniversary special was the start of his regeneration.

The news broke just days after the Series 10 Premiere gave us our first real nod towards Susan Foreman.
