Re: Some Wrestling News

There is some speculation that Drew McIntyre may have been injured on Smackdown, He had been involved with a 6 Man Tag Match with the Bar vs The New Day and he left Ringside during a commercial break, leaving viewers to see him in the match before the break and then vanish when they came back. No word on what the injury may be at this time.

It appears that Dasha Fuentes has been released by the WWE, she had been set to take part in some events over WrestleMania weekend but had been pulled and left a cryptic Tweet about how it's been an interesting week. She is currently in the Dominican Republic on a Vacation.

Re: Some Wrestling News

Some sad news out of the Wrestling World, Vampiro has announced that he has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s. Vampiro may be best known to American Wrestling fans for his run in WCW which saw him feud with Sting or for his time as a commentator for El Rey's Lucha Underground. He's wrestled all over the world including promotions like All Japan Pro Wrestling, CMLL, TNA, AAA and more. He retired from active competition in 2015 after 30 years in the business.

It appears there was a major blow up on Sunday at Wrestlemania, Sasha Banks has apparently asked for her release over frustrations at dropping the Women's Tag Team Championships to The IIconics, she had been under the impression that she and Bayley would have a long title reign to bring some prestige and legitimize the new titles. This is only the latest issue she's had with the WWE as she's been unhappy with her place in the company for a while now. WWE has asked her to take some time and think about her decision. However, it's unlikely they will grant her request with AEW signing new talent.

It's not all happy news for the New Day, Big E suffered a torn meniscus during his match with the Bar and Drew McIntyre.

The Injuries continue to pour in, Nia Jax has revealed via Social Media that she will be undergoing surgery on both knees to repair her ACL's. It appears to be a nagging injury that she had been dealing with for about a year rather than any single thing that happened in a match.

The WWE has raided Afterbuzz TV and Championship Wrestling from Hollywood once again, it's been revealed that the WWE has signed their lead announcer Jonny Loquasto to a deal. Loquasto is a long time comedian who hosts AXS TV’s Stand Up Comedy show AXS Live. He has also served as Host of Afterbuzz TV's Raw Aftershow, which has been hosted by Maria Kanellis and Ryan Katz, who are both with The WWE, Katz is a producer in NXT. Other Afterbuzz TV Hosts who are with the WWE include Maria's Husband Mike Bennett and Cathy Kelley. Current NXT, NXT UK, and 205 commentator Nigel McGuinness also worked with Loquasto at Afterbuzz TV.

Kelley and Loquasto also worked together in Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, she was the backstage interviewer

Re: Some Wrestling News

Luke Harper has requested his release, revealing the news via Social Media, the former Tag Team Champion has been off TV for months, making his return at WrestleMania for the Battle Royal and took part in the NXT Alumni vs NXT episode of Worlds Collide.

Alexander Wolfe has also taken to Social Media to say goodbye to SanIty and the WWE, SanIty was dissolved Monday when Eric Young was moved to Raw. However the wording doesn't sound as if he's asked for his release but that he may return to NXT or go over to NXT: UK.

After the Big Superstar Shake Up the following Superstars are now on Smackdown Live:
Roman Reigns - From Raw
Intercontinental Champion Finn Bálor - From Raw
Elias - From Raw
Bayley - From Raw
Ember Moon - From Raw
Kairi Sane - From NXT
Lars Sullivan - From NXT
Buddy Murphy - From 205 Live
Liv Morgan - From Raw
Chad Gable - From Raw
Apollo Crews - From Raw
Mickie James - From Raw
Otis - From NXT
Tucker - From NXT

The Following Superstars are now on Raw:
AJ Styles - From Smackdown
The Miz - From Smackdown
Ricochet - From NXT
Aleister Black - From NXT
Erik - From NXT
Ivar - From NXT
Andrade - From Smackdown
Zelina Vega - From Smackdown
Rey Mysterio - From Smackdown
Jimmy Uso - From Smackdown
Jey Uso - From Smackdown
Naomi - From Smackdown
EC3 - From Smackdown
Lacey Evans - From NXT
Eric Young - From Smackdown
Cedric Alexander - From 205 Live

As a result of the Shakeup, The NXT Tag Team Champions The War Raiders has been rebranded to The Viking Experience with Hanson and Rowe changing their names to Erik and Ivar.
The Riott Squad has split up with Liv Morgan moving back to Smackdown, where she made her Main Roster debut, leaving Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan on Raw. Logan could be paired with her Husband, formerly known as Rowe, as she's also been using a Viking theme in her costumes lately.
As already revealed SanIty is no more with Eric Young now on Raw while his partners Killian Dain likely remaining on Smackdown and Alexander Wolfe heading somewhere else. No word on where Nikki Cross has ended up as her name wasn't brought up though it's likely she'll join Smackdown as her Husband Killian Dain is likely still there.

As seen on Smackdown Karie Sane will be teaming with Asuka under the leadership of Paige.

Less than a week after the Superstar Shake up left his fate a mystery, Alexander Wolfe has revealed where he's going as the former Sanity member made his NXT: UK debut at the recent tapings held in Glasgow, Scottland.

Both Daniel Bryan and Sheamus are being kept off the road for injuries, Bryan's injuries are not known but Sheamus is said to have suffered a Concussion. His last TV match was the same match that injured Big E.

Re: Some Wrestling News

It's being reported that CM Punk has made his return to Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor Star Silas Young has confirmed that the masked man who ran in during a match and hit a GTS at a local MKE Wrestling event called The Last Knight in West Allis, Wisconsin.

It had been suspected to be Punk not only because he hit Punk's GTS finisher but also because Punk had been seen at a signing wearing the same hoodie the Masked man was wearing.

If true don't expect to see Punk returning to a WWE ring, but this could give other promotions like Ring of Honor, AEW, PWG, NJPW, etc some fuel to go after him

Jeff Hardy will be out of action for 9 months after suffering a knee injury. The plan is for the Hardys to return so no talks of retirement at this point.

Tyler Breeze and Killian Dain have both returned to NXT, Breeze returned due to the lack of opportunities on Raw or Smackdown while Dain's return is likely to repackage him with Sanity being disbanded.

Dean Ambrose has returned to his Indie name of Jon Moxley and posted a video showing him escaping an asylum while being chased by a Big Dog. In the video, there are hints that he may appear at Double or Nothing on the 25th of May. But some sources also claim that the WWE helped produce the video and that he will return to the WWE as Jon Moxley later this year.

Former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro Died at the Age of 39 back in May. She had committed suicide via hanging. A Number of her fellow former WWE divas got together to raise money via Go Fund Me for Massaro's daughter's college fund.

Eric Bischoff has been named executive director of SmackDown Live While Paul Hayman has been named executive director of Raw. Both will take over the creative direction of the Main WWE shows answering only to Vince McMahon.
