Happy Saturday, all!

I hope everyone's having a good one. We had a serious weather front come through overnight, even had tornado warnings. It was ridiculously hot all night which prevented me from sleeping well so I'm dragging today, which is not a good thing as I have to cantor for the first time in a long while. Ah [sign in to see URL]'ll surive.

Right now we've actually got sunshine and still have some pretty serious winds gusts. The temps are falling steadily too.

I'll head over to church in a bit to practice but in the meantime I'm just hanging out and catching up.

Enjoy whatever the day brings you! emoticon

It was a pretty quiet Saturday, finished catching up on my emails and went through some older Youtube subscriptions that I had saved. The Badgers won today which was much needed after last week's loss, it also made us Bowl eligible, We just need to win out and Northwestern has to lose another game and we still have a shot at the Big 10 title.

Tomorrow is another quiet one, not expecting a whole lot to happen, Packers take on the Patriots tomorrow night and I have Doctor Who to watch.

GOOD SUNDAY, [sign in to see URL] MY FRIENDS!

WOW! Yesterday was a long, fun day!
We started off with breakfast out, Belgian Waffles. Then we hit the Eagle Holiday Bazaar, almost 2 hours of walking and [sign in to see URL] kind of arts and crafts and homemade goodies you can imagine. Then we drove down the road a few miles and went to some middle [sign in to see URL] not have a clue this was on. Just saw the signs as we drove [sign in to see URL] around and hit a middle school holiday [sign in to see URL] as big! Another hour or so of walking looking at goodies. Then we headed over to Heritage Reflections Christmas open house, an incredible store that carries all Amish furniture and quilts and braided rugs, and candles and every manner of old fashioned holiday decorations, another hour of shopping, holiday musicians and hot apple cider.
Then back to Eagle to another little holiday store we love for more shopping, then we stopped in Bella Aquila in Eagle for a fantastic Italian meal, all the while overlooking the Boise River, with the fountains and squirrels and hundreds of fall trees, it was magical. After over filling our bellies we needed to walk it off. SO, since hubby had not found something specific for his holiday decorations in front of the [sign in to see URL] hit Hobby Lobby, then Lowes and then Home Depot. So another hour or more of walking there! We left at 10 AM and got home at 7:30 PM and put on 140 miles! We literally shopped till we dropped and had a fantastic day! Got some great Xmas presents, some new outdoor decorations, more goodies for our fancy tree and one whimsical year 'round wreath that says, "Fairies are real" with all kinds of fairies and such in it! OH and several new [sign in to see URL] still my heart!
NOW [sign in to see URL]'s hubby doing office work and then at 4 PM Mom and Dad want us to come over for dinner....
I HOPE I wore you all [sign in to see URL] I am!🤣
Have a great Sunday my friends...💖

Happy Sunday, all!

Playing catch up as usual. Was up and out early this morning to cantor today's two masses, only to realize that what had started yesterday was my usual allergy reaction, which unfortunately includes a day or so of laryngitis. SO not what I needed this morning! I managed to croak my way through both masses with a massive boost from one of my choir friends, then came home and visited with my cousin and her husband who had popped in to see my mother.

After they left, my sister and my nephew did the clean up from our big mid-day meal while I finally got to change my clothes and crash!

So now I'm catching up and looking forward to tonight's Walking Dead.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

It was a cold and wet day here, rained on and off most of the day and barely hit 40 degrees. Just hung out watching some Football and some Youtube videos until Doctor Who and the Packer Game started.

Monday looks like another cool day with some rain but not too bad. As usual, I have practice so I'll be recording my shows and watching them when I get home.

GOOD MONDAY, [sign in to see URL] MY FRIENDS!

[sign in to see URL] day. If you like gorgeous blue skies and winds that want to remove your hair! 🤣
On the plus [sign in to see URL] wind should remove the rest of the leaves and hopefully I will be able to get them all at least into a pile on the curb so the city can pick them up this week. Hubby flies to Chicago on Tuesday, hopefully we can get our voting in first. If not, I'll have to go [sign in to see URL] it's important and so I will.
But, for [sign in to see URL] need to take care of my insides, events here online in the last few weeks have me all in knots. I just need to put it all in the proper hands and let the stress go! Follow my own advice and just [sign in to see URL] is the hard part!🤣
[sign in to see URL] had planned on cleaning up the yard but now will have to wait to see if the winds calm down.
I think I will use my new Instant pot (black and decker version) and make a new recipe that I saw a friend [sign in to see URL], noodles and marinara sauce.
You all have a fantastic day....
************************
And as my dear Granny used to say.....
"This to shall pass...
Maybe like a kidney stone,
But it WILL pass."
************************

Ryan....hey who won the Packers game. When we went to bed it was, I think.... 17/17 in the 3rd.
Hope your cold nasty rainy days end....

Sue....thanks! Yes it [sign in to see URL], things get so twitterpated that I forget to take my own advice! LOL
Hope your allergies ease up and your laryngitis.

Happy Monday,all!

It's a gray and rainy one here. In the the mid 50's so not too cool but still a perfect day for hunkering down indoors, which is exactly what I'm doing.

Still don't have much of a voice and I'm congested and coughing but I'll live. Taking a decongestant and ibuprofen to help with the inflammation in my throat. So I gave myself a sick [sign in to see URL] of being your own boss!

At any rate, that's it here. Hope everyone else is having a good one! emoticon

[sign in to see URL] hear you on the online stuff but as we both know, you have to learn to let go. Life's too short to let it get to you! emoticon

Patriots pulled ahead and won sadly, things look bad for the Packers for the rest of the season but it's not over yet, just need to get everyone healthy.

Practice went well, despite the co-director and accompanist missing the night and the other director not having much of a voice. Before practice, I watched some TV and Youtube while hanging out as usual. After practice, I watched Supergirl as well as Manifest and Arrow. I'll catch Legends of Tomorrow sometime tomorrow.

Happy Tuesday, all!

It's a gray, rainy and warm one here. Temps are supposed to top out around [sign in to see URL] figure!

I ran over to the Parish Center in the pouring rain earlier to get the bulletin info. Had to get several weeks worth as I have to do two bulletins next week and the office is going to be closed so I was keeping a step ahead of things.

At any rate, now I'm back and catching up before deciding what else I'm going to work [sign in to see URL] articles or possibly start in on the Christmas booklet for my choir director.

One thing I won't be doing is going to choir practice. My throat is a little better today but still not good enough to sing and combined with the weather I decided I wouldn't chance it.

So that's it here. Hope everyone else is having a good one! emoticon
